Development Associate
Brief info

Whittni serves as the Development Associate with The Safe Sisters Circle. She advocates for survivors of domestic and sexual violence through fundraising efforts. Prior to joining TSSC, she served as the development associate advocating for resources for individuals experiencing homelessness at both state and federal levels. Whittni is currently doctoral student at Howard University School of Social Work, exploring Black women’s experiences with intimate partner violence (IPV) within community contexts. She earned her Masters of Social Work degree with a concentration in Community, Administration and Policy Practice from Howard University in May 2019 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Elon University in 2016. Whittni is also a licensed master’s level social worker in the state of Maryland.
