Mental Health Counseling

The Safe Sisters Circle provides free counseling to Black women and youth survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking through the Mental Health Justice Clinic (MHJC). The MHJC provides culturally specific and trauma-focused services. It is our core belief that all survivors are entitled to both accessible and equitable mental health care in the communities they reside. To ensure accessibility, survivors will have the option for in-person or virtual treatment and services outside of traditional providers’ hours.

Counseling Offerings

We are excited to provide our clients free trauma-focused:

  • short term individual CBT treatment

  • therapeutic support groups

  • meditation/grounding classes

  • referrals to long-term counseling options
