Shehariah Johnson graduated from American University in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish. She is a domestic violence survivor and activist, merging art with her journey. On her journey of healing and recovery, she fulfilled her role as a Wounded Healer. It is her life's mission to empower, educate, and encourage speaking on the unspoken. She wants her life to represent Hope, Resiliency & relying on Faith when it seems all else may fail. She uses spoken word as a therapy tool and way to help manage her survivor-hood as well. She is a proud board member of The Safe Sisters Circle because: “our CEO Alana is passionate and never misses an opportunity to show up in the community as needed; and, this organization is doing the significant work that is needed for people that look and are like me."
