Dominique Clayton is a non-profit association young professional. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and an MBA from Texas Woman’s University. She made a few career transitions before settling in Northern Virginia to begin a career in the non-profit sector. In her current role, she provides professional development for medical professionals through online education courses. Previously, Dominique served as a Business and Marketing Consultant at DIMS, LLC. She worked with small business owners and non-profit organizations. Her key areas of knowledge and expertise allowed implementation of new concepts, while businesses and organizations expanded. With her personable approach, she ensured clients reached target consumers and rose above their competitors with new and innovative marketing initiatives. Dominique is a member of the alumni associations for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Texas Woman’s University, National Black MBA Association, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, American Society of Association Executives and Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she continues to advocate for youth services, public health, mental health and equality. She is also a freelance writer and continues to volunteer for causes that are important to her.
